Critical Thinking Question:
Plate Tectonics is a theory of global tectonics in which the lithosphere is divided into a number of crustal plates.It explain Earth is made of plate.
Evidence#1:
The fossils in eastern south America and western Africa are practically the same, suggesting the two continents were together before.
Also, in Antarctica, there were fossils discovered that could only have lived in tropical climates. This suggests that antarctica was once near the equator.
Evidence#2:
Plate Boundary is an example of Plate Tectonics,it show how plate move.Convergent Boundary is when two plate move together and connected and two continental plates come together will create mountains.Divergent Boundary is when two plate separates it will create rift valley and mid-ocean ridge, when two continental crust separates it create rift valley. Transform Boundaries is when two plate move opposite direction, it create earthquake and tsunami.
I think earth is made of plate，long time ago, all plate was connected together, the plate separate because the creation of crust by magma at divergent plate boundaries.
